Group Exercise Do's and Dont's
Let us review the basic guidelines in injury prevention for Group Exercise classes from step to hi-lo, floor
works and others.  Set the records straight in proper speed of music for various types of classes and
learn the updates on group exercise instructions.

Dance for Dummies
Dance or dance-inspired classes are now well established on the fitness scene…goodbye regular hi/lo
classes and hello cardio-dance classes. Scared about making the transition? Don’t be!
Come and find out how simple yet fun it is to create a basic dance-inspired class using various moves
from jazz, hip hop, latin and more.  You will learn simple chunks of 8 counts choreography all put together
to create a final routine.  No need to be a dancer here…you just need a body!

Mat Rhythms
Experience the ultimate in Pilates mat flow!  The exercises are taught in a specific sequence to form a
seamless routine that will be performed to a special piece of music at the end of the class. The
challenge is to move with precision in time with the music whilst controlling the movements through the
use of good technique.

One Step Solution
“I am too busy! Don’t have enough time to come up with choreography for a step class.” If this sounds like
you and your fire and passion for teaching step classes has not entirely dwindled then let this one stop
session reignite your sparkle and creativity. In today’s fast-paced world that often comes with challenges
to keep up with demands and trends, why let such influences compromise your meticulous
craftsmanship? Take this total integrated solution package that offers dynamic step choreography and
movements along with conventional learning curves and conceptual teaching progressions.  To the busy
fitness professional, this one stop shop solution is designed for YOU!

Please Take Your Seats
A sexy, sassy dance routine using a chair as a prop! Think of the video clip from the Pussycat Dolls'
Buttons. Ultra modern and funky, guaranteed to make the audience watching wish they were the chair!

Saturday Night Fever
Grab your flared pants and platform heels and join in on the fun as we dance and move to the groove of
70’s disco music. Be prepared to re-live the past as we learn a dance routine with disco inspired moves.

Step by the Numbers
Bored of 4, 8 and 16 counts and want to learn how to make your step classes more exciting? Then let
Mirko show you how.  By working with odd counts of 3, 7, 11 and so on, you can create a fresh new class
and utilise all 4 sides of your step. You will also learn how to layer rhythm changes. Thinking caps on!!

Steptastic
Get out your magic wand and watch Vanessa cast a steptasic spell for your step classes. By using
simple, seamless layering techniques and combining it with formulas such as rearranging, blending or x-
phrasing, discover how you can magically transform a base move and your old combinations into
something absolutely steptastic.
